About Kathy Schultz

Kathy Schultz has written more than 500 articles on fashion, shopping, beauty, lifestyle, and travel. Her work has appeared in Lucky Magazine, Seattle Magazine, Seattle Bride, Seattle Metropolitan, Sunset, Virtuoso Life, The Seattle Weekly, Journey, Yoga Journal, www.nwsource.com, and oddly enough, Automotive Fleet. She has contributed to guide books including Northwest Best Places (Sasquatch, 2006), Seattle Best Places (Sasquatch, 2002), and Moon Metro, Seattle (Avalon Publishing, 2003). She is also the co-author of Underneath It All: A Girl’s Guide to Buying, Wearing, and Loving Lingerie (Harlequin, 2009).

Kathy worked as an editorial assistant for Seattle Magazine and as an editor for CitySearch in Seattle, uncovering the best that the city has to offer. As the Regional Reporter for Lucky Magazine from 2000 to 2007, she filed monthly stories on fashion trends, designers, events, boutiques and spas for the magazine, and weekly fashion news for the website at www.luckymag.com. From 2004 to 2007, she wrote daily, weekly, and monthly columns on shopping, fashion, and beauty for www.nwsource.com, the online entertainment guide of The Seattle Times newspaper.

A love of travel has taken Kathy to Europe, Africa, Central America and Asia. Her latest work is in India — the culture, people, food, crafts  and traveling throughout the Subcontinent. She is currently working on a book involving this amazing land. She divides her time between Jaipur, India and Seattle, Washington.
